Prayer Updates 7/16/25
Church Family and Friends
Charlie Kraebel- Pray for recovery from surgery last week and healing of the infection he had.
Judy Frederick- Continue to pray for her heart condition. She had an arrythmia last week and was seen at Ellis hospital. She is resting at home and in the care of her cardiologist. Pray for her to regain strength and good health and for wisdom for the doctors treating her.
Rich and Sally Lane- Please Pray for them as their son Tom (46) recently passed away unexpectedly in Florida. He collapsed after work near his vehicle, cause of death unknown. An autopsy was done, but the report will take a while to come back. Pray for the family, his brother Joe and sister Charity, that God will give them all comfort and peace.
Tom Hobson- Pray for his heart and ongoing health issues. He is very weak and is currently in the Rehab Unit of Nathan Littauer Extended Care. Please pray for God's will to be done and wisdom for the doctors treating him. Pray for Mickey during this time, that she will have strength and peace.
Sarah Appell's sister- Pray for Nancy who has Alzheimer's disease. Her health is getting increasingly worse. She is very weak, not eating well and weighs less than 100 lbs. She recently fell at home, and no one was there to help her. Please pray that the family would step in and get her the care she needs.
Jonah Strong- Dave and Patty 's grandson who was recently born with a cleft pallet. Pray that he would continue to take nourishment and grow. Pray for his upcoming surgery in two months. Pray for his parents, Jeremiah and Kerrin as they care for him and his special needs.
Penny Bartlett- Pray for continued healing and recovery from recent oral and dental surgeries to replace a bridge and other repairs from a past injury.
Pray that she would not have too much discomfort and pain.
Marlene Duesler's grandson Mike- (Robyn's son) Continue to pray for healing of his kidney cancer. His treatments are being extended for several more weeks. Please pray that he will respond well to the remaining treatments and will have a marked in improvement over the previous course of IV Meds. Pray for physical strength and that he would draw near to God during this difficult time.
Katie DeMaria- She has moved to a group home in Canandaigua, NY. Pray for a good transition, that she will build relationships and make friends, and that her mental health will continue to improve. Pray that she would be more disciplined in keeping to a schedule with her medication and sleeping habits. Pray for Colleen as she continues to give Katie encouragement and emotional support.
Brett DeMaria- Pray for Brett, his wife and 5 children as they prepare to move to California from Virginia. He will be serving at Camp Pendleton.
Nick DeMaria- Pray for his family as they move from Va. to upstate NY near Albany.
Michele Jurcsak- Please pray for salvation for her family and especially her elderly father whose health is failing. This has been a great burden on Michele's heart. Pray for God's comfort and peace.

Missionary Family
Summer Mission Trips- Pray for the Ecuador team to raise needed finances for the trip, July 23- Aug 3. Pray as they prepare to minister to children and families through the VBS program and other activities.
*Dan and Ginny Bryant (Senegal, W. Africa) Pray for the situation with their house as part of their roof and ceiling collapsed in their dining room. Thankfully, no one was injured. If they had been sitting at the table, they would have been crushed by the cement blocks that fell. Pray for safety until they can move out. Pray for Ginny while Dan is away and for her health issues to be managed amidst this new trauma. Continue to pray for their son Tobiah (16) who has Spondylolysis, a serious spine disorder. He is at the Cleveland Clinic getting intense physical therapy. Dan just had surgery on his knee and won't be able to travel back to Dakar for at least 2 more weeks. Continue to Pray for additional finances to pay for medical and housing expenses while in the States. Pray especially that they would find a new home in Dakar to buy or rent as soon as possible. There is too much structural damage to the current house to repair.
Joel and Seiko Lovestrand- (Japan) Pray for their daughter Akari as she recently got married in Hong Kong and had a Japanese wedding. Pray for her and her husband Nathanael as they start their new life together.
Pray for Joel and Seiko as they continue teaching English classes and a Bible Study in their home. Pray that they would have wisdom in balancing their time and the use of their home for ministry. Pray that God would help them develop relationships in their community and reach many people for Christ. Pray for Seiko as she builds relationships with other mothers from Leo's school and has also started a sewing class in their home.
Joe and Amy Marshall- (Benin) They are back in the States now. Pray for their family as they travel, visiting supporting churches and family. They are living out of their motor home through the summer into fall. Pray for their health, rest and safety and that the kids would adjust well to a new environment.
Paul and Tati O'Bradovic (WOL, Schroon Lake)- Pray for their ministry with children, teens and youth leaders and as they travel all over the Northeast. Pray for them as they assist churches grow their youth ministries as well as their role in writing curriculum for Olympian and Teen Quiet Times. Pray for their time together as a family and as Lianna starts her first job working at camp this summer.
Sacandaga Bible Conference- Continue to pray for their summer staff needs, especially counselors for the campers. Pray that God would give Dave Spencer wisdom and guidance as he directs the camp.
Joel and Rachel Shelley- (WOL, Philippines) They are in the States now on Home Assignment. Pray for them as they plan out their calendar and schedule visits to supporting churches. Continue to pray for the camps in the Philippines going on now.
